This 3687mAh cell is a direct swap for the iPhone 12 Pro Max battery. It comes as the bare battery with its connector. iOS may show a message that it cannot verify the battery, and Battery Health may not show a percentage. The battery still powers and charges the phone.

How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About. The Model Name should read iPhone 12 Pro Max. Tap Model Number to see the A-number; it should be one of A2342, A2410, A2411, A2412.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max has a 6.7-inch screen and three rear cameras. The iPhone 12 Pro is the smaller 6.1-inch model.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the iPhone 12 Pro Max off, remove the pentalobe screws and open the display from the bottom edge.
- Disconnect the battery connector before touching anything else.
- Pull the adhesive strips out slowly and lift the old battery without bending or puncturing it.
- Fit new adhesive, seat the new battery and plug in its connector.
- Reconnect the display, close the phone and refit the screws.
- Charge to full and check the phone powers on and charges normally.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

No. The iPhone 13 Pro Max has a different battery. This part is for the iPhone 12 Pro Max only.
Will Battery Health show a message?
It may. iOS may show a message that it cannot verify the battery, and Battery Health may not show a percentage. The battery still powers and charges the phone. This happens with any battery not fitted by Apple.
