What this part is
On the Alcatel 1S 2020 the charging port is mounted on a small sub-board at the bottom of the phone, joined to the main board by a flex cable. Daily plugging in, pocket lint and drops wear the port out, and the phone stops charging reliably.
This is the complete charging port board, so no soldering is needed. The whole board is swapped as one part. If the phone still does not charge with a new board and a known good cable, the battery or main board may be at fault.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model should read 1S (2020) and the model number should start 5028.
The 1S 2020 is a different phone from the 1S 2019 (5024). Check the model number before ordering.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the Alcatel 1S 2020 off and remove the SIM tray.
- Remove the back cover with a plastic opening tool, then remove the screws holding the inner cover.
- Disconnect the battery connector before touching any other part.
- Remove the bottom cover, unplug the flex cable and unscrew the old charging port board.
- Fit the new board, reconnect its flex cable and secure the screws.
- Refit the inner cover, screws and back cover.
- Reconnect the battery, power on and test charging with a known good cable.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Alcatel 1S 2020?
Yes, if your model number is 5028, 5028D, 5028Y, 5028U or 5028A. It does not fit the Alcatel 1S 2019.
Does it fit the Alcatel 1S 2019?
No. The 1S 2019 (5024) is a different phone with a different charging board. This part is for the 1S 2020 only.
Do I need to solder anything?
No. This is a complete board with the port already fitted. It connects with a flex cable and screws.
Is it made by Alcatel?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality charging port board made to fit the Alcatel 1S 2020, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The Alcatel 1S 2020 has to be opened carefully with plastic tools, and the battery must be disconnected before the new part is connected.
