What this part is
The Alcatel 3X 2019 has its charging port on a separate board at the base of the phone. When the port wears or gets damaged, the charger may only connect at an angle, or the phone may stop charging entirely.
This board comes with the port already fitted, so it is a straight swap. It also carries the USB data connection, so a new board restores computer connection when the old port was the problem.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model should read 3X (2019) and the model number should start 5048.
The 3X 2019 and 3X 2020 look alike but use different parts. The 3X 2020 model number starts 5061.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the Alcatel 3X 2019 off and remove the SIM tray.
- Remove the back cover with a plastic opening tool, then remove the screws holding the inner cover.
- Disconnect the battery connector before touching any other part.
- Unplug the flex cable from the old charging port board and remove its screws.
- Fit the new board, reconnect the flex cable firmly and refit the screws.
- Refit the inner cover, screws and back cover.
- Reconnect the battery, power on and test charging with a known good cable.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Alcatel 3X 2019?
Yes, if your model number is 5048, 5048U or 5048Y.
Does it fit the Alcatel 3X 2020?
No. The 3X 2020 (5061) uses a different charging part. Choose the 3X 2020 listing instead.
Will it fix a phone that shows charging but the percentage does not rise?
It can, if the port is worn and the connection is poor. If the percentage still does not rise with a new board, the battery is the more likely cause.
Is it made by Alcatel?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality charging port board made to fit the Alcatel 3X 2019, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The Alcatel 3X 2019 has to be opened carefully with plastic tools, and the battery must be disconnected before the new part is connected.
