What this part is
The Fire HD 10 (2021) and Fire HD 10 Plus connect the display to the main board with a thin LCD flex cable. A cable pinched or torn during a screen or battery repair is a common cause of a black or striped picture.
This part replaces the cable only. Fit it when the LCD is not cracked but shows no picture, flickers or shows lines. If the LCD itself is cracked or leaking, the screen needs replacing instead.

How to check your model
Open Settings › Device Options › Device Model. It should show Fire HD 10 (11th Generation) or Fire HD 10 Plus (11th Generation).
The 2021 Fire HD 10 has a 10.1-inch screen and a USB-C port. The model code T76N2B is on the tablet's regulatory information.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the Amazon Fire HD 10 (2021) off completely.
- Release the back cover clips with a plastic opening tool, working slowly around the edge.
- Disconnect the battery before touching any other part.
- Release the connector shield and unplug the old LCD flex.
- Fit the new flex, press each end firmly into its connector and refit the shield.
- Refit any shields, screws and the back cover.
- Reconnect the battery, power on and check the picture for lines, flicker and brightness.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

No. The 2019 Fire HD 10 (9th generation) uses a different display cable.
