Compatible Models

Compatible with iPad mini 3 model numbers: A1599 (WiFi) and A1600 (WiFi + Cellular). Confirm your model on the rear of the device or at Settings > General > About. Note: the iPad mini 3 introduced Touch ID in the Home button — check you have the 3rd generation, not mini 2 or mini 4.

Technical Specification

Before You Buy

This is the LCD panel only — it does not include the front glass digitizer. The iPad mini 3 uses a non-laminated display where the LCD and front glass are separate. If both layers are damaged, you will also need the touch digitizer.

This part is for the iPad mini 3 only. The iPad mini 2 and 3 share a similar LCD panel, but the iPad mini 4 uses a fully laminated assembly and is not compatible.

Installation Notes

The front glass digitizer must be removed before the LCD can be accessed. A heat mat and prying tools are needed to safely release the adhesive securing the front glass. Transfer the Touch ID Home button from the original assembly. Professional installation is recommended. We will not accept returns on installed parts.
