What this part is
On the iPhone 12 mini, the rear LED flash sits on a thin flex cable next to the rear cameras. A drop, liquid damage or a torn cable during a repair can stop the torch working, leave the camera flash dead.
This part replaces that flex. The iPhone 12 mini has two rear cameras, and this flex is shaped to fit around them. It does not repair the cameras themselves.

How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About. The model name should read iPhone 12 mini. Tap the model number to see the A-number (for example A2176).
The iPhone 12 mini has a 5.4-inch screen and two rear cameras set side by side vertically. The iPhone 13 mini is the same size but its cameras sit diagonally.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the iPhone 12 mini off, remove the two pentalobe screws next to the charging port and warm the screen edges to soften the adhesive.
- Open the display carefully and disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Remove the bracket above the rear cameras and lift out the old flash flex.
- Fit the new flex in the same position and reconnect it.
- Reconnect the display and battery, then test the repair before sealing.
- Apply new adhesive, close the phone and press evenly while it cures.
- Test the torch, the camera flash in photo mode.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
