What this part is
The SIM tray on the iPhone 12 slides into the side of the frame and holds your nano-SIM card. If the tray is lost, bent or cracked, the SIM can sit loose and the phone may show No SIM, and the gap in the frame lets dust in.
This part replaces the tray only. Choose the colour that matches your phone's frame. It fits the SIM slot of the iPhone 12; trays for other models are a slightly different size and shape.

How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About. The model name should read iPhone 12. Tap the model number to see the A-number (for example A2172).
The iPhone 12 has a 6.1-inch screen and two rear cameras. The iPhone 12 Pro has the same screen size but three rear cameras and a LiDAR scanner.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off.
- Push a SIM ejector tool into the small hole beside the tray and pull the old tray out.
- Place the nano-SIM card in the new tray, gold contacts facing down.
- Slide the tray back in the right way round until it sits flush.
- Power on and check the phone reads the SIM.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

No. The iPhone 12 Pro uses a different sim card tray. This part is made only for the iPhone 12.
