Overview
What this part is
On the iPhone 13 Pro, the side (power) button, the volume buttons and the NFC antenna coil used for Apple Pay share one flex cable. A drop, liquid damage or a torn flex during another repair can leave the buttons dead or unreliable.
This part replaces the complete flex, including the NFC coil. If the buttons feel stuck or loose, the fault may be the metal button caps in the frame rather than the flex.

Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the iPhone 13 Pro off, remove the two pentalobe screws beside the charging port and warm the edges to soften the adhesive.
- Open the phone carefully and disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Remove the parts covering the button flex and peel the old flex carefully away from the frame.
- Fit the new flex, line up each switch with its button and seat the connector firmly.
- Reconnect the battery, then test the repair before sealing.
- Apply new adhesive, close the phone and press evenly while it cures.
- Test the side button, both volume buttons and Apple Pay.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Will this fit my iPhone 13 Pro?
Yes, if Settings › General › About shows iPhone 13 Pro. It fits models A2638, A2483, A2636, A2639 and A2640. It does not fit the iPhone 13 Pro Max or iPhone 13.
Does it fit the iPhone 13 Pro Max?
No. The iPhone 13 Pro Max uses a different part. This one is made only for the iPhone 13 Pro.
Does this include the NFC coil?
Yes. The supplier lists it as the NFC coil with power and volume flex cable for the iPhone 13 Pro, so it comes as one part.
Is it made by Apple?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality power and volume flex cable with nfc coil made to fit the iPhone 13 Pro, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. Opening an iPhone needs heat, pentalobe and tri-point screwdrivers and new adhesive, and the battery must be disconnected safely.
