What this part is
On the iPhone 15 Pro Max, the side (power) button and the volume buttons press against switches on a flex cable inside the titanium frame. A drop, liquid damage or a torn flex during another repair can leave the buttons dead or unreliable.
This part replaces that flex. If a button feels stuck or loose, the fault may be the button cap in the frame rather than the flex.

How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About. The model name should read iPhone 15 Pro Max. Tap the model number to see the A-number (for example A3106).
The iPhone 15 Pro Max has a 6.7-inch screen, three rear cameras and a titanium frame. The iPhone 15 Pro is smaller, with a 6.1-inch screen.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the iPhone 15 Pro Max off, remove the two pentalobe screws beside the charging port and warm the edges to soften the adhesive.
- Open the phone carefully and disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Remove the parts covering the button flex and peel the old flex carefully away from the frame.
- Fit the new flex, line up each switch with its button and seat the connector firmly.
- Reconnect the battery, then test the repair before sealing.
- Apply new adhesive, close the phone and press evenly while it cures.
- Test the side button and both volume buttons.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
