What this part is
The loudspeaker at the bottom of the iPhone 16 Plus plays ringtones, alerts, music and speakerphone calls. Liquid, dust or a drop can damage it, leaving sound quiet, distorted or silent.
This part replaces the bottom loudspeaker. The earpiece speaker at the top of the phone is a separate part. Clean the speaker grille first: blocked mesh can also make the sound quiet.

How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About. The model name should read iPhone 16 Plus. Tap the model number to see the A-number.
The iPhone 16 Plus has a 6.7-inch screen and two rear cameras. The iPhone 16 is smaller, with a 6.1-inch screen.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the iPhone 16 Plus off, remove the two pentalobe screws beside the charging port and warm the edges to soften the adhesive.
- Open the phone carefully and disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Remove the screws and brackets holding the loudspeaker and lift the old speaker out.
- Fit the new loudspeaker, seat it firmly and refit every screw.
- Reconnect the battery and test ringtones, music and speakerphone before sealing.
- Apply new adhesive, close the phone and press evenly while it cures.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
