How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About. The model name should read iPhone SE (2nd generation). Tap the model number to see the A-number (for example A2275).
The iPhone SE 2020 (2nd generation) has a 4.7-inch screen and a Home button. In About it shows as iPhone SE (2nd generation), not iPhone SE (3rd generation).

How a technician fits this part
- Power the iPhone SE 2020 off, remove the two pentalobe screws next to the charging port, then warm the screen edges to soften the adhesive.
- Open the display carefully and disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Remove the screen, then take out the battery, loudspeaker and the screws holding the charging port.
- Peel the old flex away from the frame and fit the new flex in the same position.
- Reconnect the battery and display, then test charging, data and a voice memo before sealing.
- Apply new adhesive, close the phone and press evenly while it cures.
- Check charging, the microphone and the Home button all work.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
