What this part is
The SIM card tray holds your nano-SIM in the side of the iPhone X. Trays are easy to lose, bend or scratch, and a bent tray may not sit flush or may not hold the SIM firmly against the contacts.
This is a replacement nano-SIM tray. The iPhone X takes one nano-SIM plus eSIM. It pushes into the slot by hand, and you use a SIM eject pin to remove it again. No heat or tools are needed to open the phone.

How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About. The model name should read iPhone X. Tap the model number to see the A-number (for example A1865).
The iPhone X has a 5.8-inch screen and Face ID. The iPhone XS looks almost the same, so check the model number carefully.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the iPhone X off.
- Push a SIM eject pin into the small hole beside the tray to release the old tray, if one is fitted.
- Place your nano-SIM in the new tray, gold contacts facing down, matching the cut corner.
- Slide the tray straight into the slot until it sits flush with the frame.
- Power the phone on and check the network signal appears.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my iPhone X?
Yes, if Settings › General › About shows iPhone X. It fits models A1865, A1901, A1902. It does not fit the iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max.
Does it fit the iPhone XS?
No. The iPhone XS uses a different sim card tray. This part is listed only for the iPhone X.
Will this fix a No SIM message?
Only if the old tray was bent or missing and the SIM was not sitting properly. If a No SIM message stays with a good tray and SIM, the SIM reader or main board is the likely fault.
Is it made by Apple?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality sim card tray made to fit the iPhone X, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
Yes, this is one of the few parts you can fit at home. You only need a SIM eject pin. Make sure the SIM sits flat in the tray before sliding it in.
