What this part is
Inside the iPhone XS Max, the WiFi signal runs through a thin flex cable that links the main board to the antenna. The flex is fragile and is often torn or pinched during a screen or battery repair, or damaged by liquid.
When it fails, WiFi still switches on but the signal becomes weak, the range is very short or the connection keeps dropping. This part replaces that flex. If the WiFi switch is greyed out in Settings, the fault is on the main board and a new flex will not fix it.

How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About. The model name should read iPhone XS Max. Tap the model number to see the A-number (for example A2101).
The iPhone XS Max has a 6.5-inch screen. The iPhone XS is smaller, with a 5.8-inch screen.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the iPhone XS Max off, remove the two pentalobe screws beside the charging port and warm the screen edges.
- Open the display carefully and disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Remove the brackets over the WiFi flex and unclip the old cable.
- Fit the new WiFi flex, seat each connector firmly and refit the brackets and screws.
- Reconnect the battery and display and test WiFi before sealing.
- Apply new adhesive, close the phone and press evenly while it cures.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
