What this part is
On the ASUS ZenPad 3S 10 Z500KL, the display connects to the main board through a flex cable. If that cable is creased, torn or has a damaged connector, the screen may stay black, flicker, show lines or colour faults, or only work when the tablet is pressed.
This part replaces the cable only. It will not fix cracked glass or a broken LCD panel. The supplier lists it for the Z500KL (P001), the 4G version of the ZenPad 3S 10. The WiFi-only Z500M may use a different cable, so check your model first.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About tablet (or Settings › About). The model should read Z500KL or P001. It is also printed on the back of the tablet.
The ZenPad 3S 10 has a 9.7-inch screen. The Z500KL has a SIM slot; the Z500M is the WiFi-only version.

How a technician fits this part
- Power the tablet off and open it carefully with plastic tools, following a guide for the Z500KL.
- Disconnect the battery before touching any cable.
- Release the connector latches and remove the old LCD flex.
- Fit the new flex and lock both connectors fully.
- Reconnect the battery and test the display before closing.
- Close the tablet and check brightness, colours and touch.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

No. The ZenPad Z8s ZT582KL uses its own LCD flex cable. Buy the part listed for your model.
Will this fix a cracked screen?
No. This is only the cable between the display and the board. It fixes display faults caused by a damaged cable, not broken glass or a damaged LCD panel.
