What this part is
At the top of the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro, a thin flex cable runs alongside the earpiece speaker and connects the small sensors in that area. It is easy to tear or crease during a screen repair, and liquid damage can also affect it.
This part replaces the flex cable only. You move the earpiece speaker across from your old part. Face ID and some sensors are linked to the phone's own parts, so ask your technician how a flex change affects your model before fitting.

How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About. The model name should read iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro. Tap the model number to see the A-number.
The iPhone 12 and 12 Pro both have a 6.1-inch screen. The 12 mini (5.4-inch) and 12 Pro Max (6.7-inch) use different parts.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off, remove the pentalobe screws and warm the screen edges.
- Open the display and disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Remove the screen, then take out the earpiece speaker and the old flex.
- Fit the new flex, then move your earpiece speaker onto it.
- Reconnect the screen and battery and test calls and sensors before sealing.
- Apply new adhesive, close the phone and run a final check.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Does it fit the iPhone 12 Pro Max or 12 mini?
No. Those phones are different sizes and use their own top flex cables.
Does it include the earpiece speaker?
No. This is the sensor flex cable only. You move your existing earpiece speaker onto it, or buy a new earpiece separately.
Is it made by Apple?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality sensor flex cable made to fit the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
