The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ use the same SIM tray, which slides into the top edge of the phone. It holds a nano-SIM and a microSD card, and dual-SIM phones use a tray that holds two nano-SIMs or one nano-SIM plus a microSD card.
A missing tray lets dust and water into the slot, and a bent tray can jam or fail to seat the SIM, which causes 'No SIM' errors. Fitting a new tray needs no tools beyond the SIM eject pin and no heat.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+. The model number starts SM-G950 for the S8 or SM-G955 for the S8+.
The Galaxy S8 has a 5.8-inch curved screen and the S8+ has a 6.2-inch curved screen. Both have a fingerprint sensor on the back next to the camera.

How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off.
- Push the eject pin into the small hole on the top edge to release the old tray.
- Place your nano-SIM and microSD card in the new tray, gold contacts facing down.
- Slide the tray in straight and flush, power on and check the SIM and card are found.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Galaxy S8?

No. The Galaxy S9 and S9+ use a different tray. This tray is for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ only.
Should I choose a Double SIM option?
Choose Double SIM only if your phone is a dual-SIM model, which shows two SIM entries under Settings › Connections › SIM card manager. A dual-SIM tray can hold two nano-SIMs or one nano-SIM plus a microSD card.
