What this part is
The Google Pixel 8 display is a single bonded part. The cover glass, touch layer and panel are joined, so a cracked front, patchy touch or a picture with lines means the whole assembly is replaced.
This is the LCD screen and digitiser on its own, with no frame. It fits into your Pixel 8's existing frame after the old screen and adhesive are removed. It uses an LCD panel rather than OLED. Colours, black levels and brightness may look different from the screen the phone was sold with. The Pixel 8 was sold with an OLED screen, and LCD replacements usually do not support the optical fingerprint sensor under the display. Face Unlock and your PIN are not affected.

Is this the right part?
Signs it needs replacing
- The Pixel 8 glass is cracked, chipped or shattered

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The device name should read Pixel 8. The model code (GKWS6, GPJ41 or G9BQD) is printed on the box and in Settings › About phone › Regulatory labels.
The Pixel 8 has a 6.2-inch screen and two rear cameras. The Pixel 8 Pro is larger and has three.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and warm the screen edges to soften the adhesive.
- Lift the old screen out slowly and disconnect the battery first.
- Clean all old adhesive from the frame and check the frame is not bent.
- Connect the new screen and test display and touch before sealing.
- Apply new adhesive, seat the screen and press evenly around the edges.
- Final check: display, touch, fingerprint, calls, proximity sensor and charging.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Frequently asked questions
Will this fit my Pixel 8?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Pixel 8. It fits models GKWS6, GPJ41 and G9BQD. It does not fit the Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel 8a or Pixel 7.
Does it fit the Pixel 8 Pro?
No. The Pixel 8 Pro has a larger 6.7-inch screen and a different frame. The Pixel 8a is also different. This part is for the Pixel 8 only.
Will the in-screen fingerprint sensor work?
It may not. This is an LCD replacement, and the Pixel 8's optical fingerprint sensor is designed to read through an OLED screen. Face Unlock and your PIN still work.
Is it made by Google?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality LCD screen assembly made to fit the Google Pixel 8, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. Opening a Pixel 8 needs heat, thin tools and fresh adhesive, and the battery must be disconnected first.
