What this part is
On the Google Pixel 9 the cover glass, touch layer and OLED panel are bonded into one unit. A cracked front, dead touch areas, green or pink lines, or a screen that stays black while the phone still rings all mean the whole display assembly needs replacing.
This version arrives already fitted to a new mid-frame. The technician transfers the battery, main board and small parts into the new frame, so the screen never has to be prised away from the old frame. The Pixel 9 uses a fingerprint sensor under the display, so fingerprints should be registered again after the repair.

Is this the right part?
Signs it needs replacing
- The front glass is cracked or shattered
- The display stays black but the phone still vibrates or rings

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The device name should read Pixel 9, not Pixel 9 Pro or Pixel 9a. The model code (G2YBB or GUR25) is shown under Settings › About phone › Regulatory labels and on the box.
The Pixel 9 has two rear cameras. The Pixel 9 Pro looks similar but has three rear cameras, so its screen is not the same part.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the Pixel 9 off and warm the screen edges to soften the adhesive.
- Open the display carefully and disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Move the battery, main board, cameras and small parts into the new frame.
- Connect the new screen and test display, touch and brightness before sealing.
- Apply new adhesive, close the phone and press evenly while the adhesive cures.
- Re-register your fingerprints, then check calls, speakers, cameras and charging.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Frequently asked questions
Will this fit my Pixel 9?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Pixel 9. It is listed for models G2YBB and GUR25. It does not fit the Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL or Pixel 9a.
Does it fit the Pixel 9 Pro?
No. The Pixel 9 Pro has a similar size but uses a different display and frame. Please choose our Pixel 9 Pro screen instead.
Will my fingerprint sensor still work?
The sensor sits under the screen and is not part of this assembly. After fitting, delete your old fingerprints and register them again. We cannot promise fingerprint performance, as it depends on the phone and the fitting.
Is it made by Google?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality OLED assembly made to fit the Google Pixel 9, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The Pixel 9 needs heat, the right tools and new adhesive, and the battery must be disconnected safely before the frame swap.
