What this part is
The Pixel 9 Pro display is a single bonded unit of glass, touch digitiser and OLED panel. When the glass cracks, touch stops working in places, or the image shows lines, flicker or black patches, the complete assembly is replaced.
This part comes fitted to a new mid-frame. Instead of separating the screen from the old frame, the technician moves the internal parts across. That is usually quicker and gives a flat, even finish. The fingerprint sensor under the display should be set up again once the phone is back together.

How to check your model
Go to Settings › About phone and check the device name reads Pixel 9 Pro, not Pixel 9 Pro XL or Pixel 9. You will find the model code (GR83Y or GEC77) in Settings › About phone › Regulatory labels.
The Pixel 9 Pro has three rear cameras and a 6.3-inch screen. The Pixel 9 Pro XL is the larger 6.8-inch model.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the Pixel 9 Pro off and warm the screen edges to soften the adhesive.
- Open the display carefully and disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Move the battery, main board, cameras and small parts into the new frame.
- Connect the new screen and test display, touch and brightness before sealing.
- Apply new adhesive, close the phone and press evenly while the adhesive cures.
- Re-register your fingerprints, then check calls, speakers, cameras and charging.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Pixel 9 Pro?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Pixel 9 Pro. It is listed for models GR83Y and GEC77.
Does it fit the Pixel 9 Pro XL?
No. The Pixel 9 Pro XL has a larger 6.8-inch screen and a different frame. We sell a separate Pixel 9 Pro XL screen.
Is this an OLED screen?
Yes. It is an OLED panel, the same display type the Pixel 9 Pro was sold with. After fitting, register your fingerprints again, as the sensor sits under the screen.
Is it made by Google?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality OLED assembly built to fit the Google Pixel 9 Pro, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The repair uses heat and new adhesive, and every internal part has to move into the new frame.
