What this part is
The iPhone 16 Pro Max was sold with an OLED display. This replacement uses an OLED panel too, so the picture keeps true blacks and bright colours, unlike a budget LCD. It is a direct-fit full assembly: cover glass, touch digitiser and panel come bonded together.
It sits between our budget In-Cell LCD and our top LTPO OLED screen. If 120Hz ProMotion matters to you, choose the LTPO OLED version, as this listing does not claim ProMotion support. True Tone may need your old screen's data to work, and iOS may show a parts notice for the display in Settings.

How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About. The Model Name should read iPhone 16 Pro Max. Tap the Model Number once to see the A-number (A3084, A3295, A3296, A3297).
The iPhone 16 Pro Max has a 6.9-inch screen, three rear cameras and a titanium frame. The iPhone 16 Pro is smaller at 6.3 inches.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the iPhone 16 Pro Max off and warm the screen edges gently.
- Open the display with care and disconnect the battery first.
- Unplug and remove the old display assembly.
- Connect the new OLED screen and test picture and touch before sealing.
- Apply new adhesive and press the screen evenly into the frame.
- Run a final check: display, touch, Face ID, earpiece and front camera.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Does it fit the iPhone 16 Plus?
No. The iPhone 16 Plus uses a 6.7-inch screen with a different shape. This one is for the iPhone 16 Pro Max only.
What is the difference between this and your LTPO OLED screen?
Both are OLED, with deep blacks and vivid colour. The LTPO OLED screen supports ProMotion 120Hz adaptive refresh; this OLED screen does not claim that feature and costs less.
Is it made by Apple?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality oled screen assembly made to fit the iPhone 16 Pro Max, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. OLED panels crack if bent, the Face ID parts are delicate, and the battery must be disconnected safely.
