What this part is
The Galaxy A16 5G display is one bonded unit of cover glass, touch digitiser and OLED panel. If the glass cracks, touch fails, or you see lines, green tint or black patches, the whole assembly needs replacing.
This 6.66-inch OLED screen comes pre-fitted to a new mid-frame for the EU version, SM-A166B. The technician moves the battery, board and small parts into the new frame, so the old screen never needs to be prised out. Phones sold in the UK are normally the SM-A166B, but check before ordering.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Galaxy A16 5G. The model number (it starts SM-) should be SM-A166B.
This part is for the EU version SM-A166B. The Galaxy A16 4G looks similar but has a different model number.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off, warm the back cover gently and lift it off.
- Remove the screws and board cover, then disconnect the battery first.
- Move the battery, main board, cameras, speaker, charging board and small parts into the new frame.
- Connect the new screen and test display, touch and brightness before closing.
- Refit the covers and screws, then fit the back cover with new adhesive.
- Run a final check: display, touch, calls, speakers, cameras, buttons and charging.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Galaxy A16 5G?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Galaxy A16 5G with model number SM-A166B. It does not fit the Galaxy A16 4G or Galaxy A15 5G.
Does it fit the Galaxy A16 4G?
No. The Galaxy A16 4G (SM-A165F) uses a different frame. This part is for the Galaxy A16 5G SM-A166B EU version only.
Is this an OLED screen?
Yes. It is a 6.66-inch OLED panel, the same display type the Galaxy A16 5G was sold with. The fingerprint sensor is in the side key, so it is not affected by the screen.
Is it made by Samsung?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality OLED screen and digitiser assembly with mid-frame made to fit the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. Opening the Galaxy A16 5G needs heat, the right tools and new adhesive, and the battery must be disconnected safely.
