What this part is
The Galaxy A55 display is a bonded unit of glass, touch digitiser and OLED panel. Broken glass, lines, dark patches or touch problems all mean the full assembly needs replacing.
This version comes pre-fitted to a new mid-frame. The A55 has a metal frame with a raised key area on the side, so a new frame also refreshes a dented edge. The internal parts are moved across, and no screen separation is needed. It is OLED, the same screen type the A55 shipped with.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model number should read SM-A556B (Galaxy A55).
The Galaxy A54 and A56 look alike but have different screens and frames.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power off, remove the SIM tray and warm the glass back to open it.
- Disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Transfer the battery, boards, cameras and flex cables into the new frame.
- Connect the screen and check display, touch and brightness.
- Refit the glass back with new adhesive.
- Test the fingerprint sensor, calls, cameras and charging.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

No. Each uses its own screen and frame.
Will the in-screen fingerprint sensor work?
This is an OLED panel, which is what the A55's optical sensor is built for. Re-register your fingerprint after fitting and test it before sealing.
Is it made by Samsung?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality OLED assembly made to fit the Galaxy A55, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The glued glass back and the full frame transfer need the right tools and experience.
