What this part is
The Galaxy A71 5G display is one bonded unit: cover glass, touch layer and OLED panel. If the glass cracks, touch stops working, or you see lines, green tints or black patches, the full assembly needs replacing.
This version comes on a new mid-frame. The technician moves the battery, boards and small parts across, so the screen never has to be pried off the old frame. The A71 5G has a fingerprint sensor under the screen. Replacement OLED panels can behave differently, so test fingerprint unlock after fitting and re-register your prints; your PIN and face recognition are not affected.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Galaxy A71 5G. The model number starts SM-A716B.
The 5G model shows 5G in Settings › About phone. If yours says SM-A715F, it is the 4G model.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and warm the back cover to soften the adhesive.
- Remove the back cover and inner covers, then disconnect the battery first.
- Move the battery, main board, sub board, cameras and small parts into the new frame.
- Connect the new screen and test display, touch, brightness and fingerprint before sealing.
- Fit a new back cover adhesive and press the cover down evenly.
- Run a final check: calls, speakers, cameras, charging and fingerprint enrolment.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Galaxy A71 5G and the model number starts SM-A716B. It does not fit the Galaxy A71 4G (SM-A715F), A72 or A51 5G.
Does it fit the Galaxy A71 4G?
No. The 4G model (SM-A715F) uses a different frame. Choose the A71 4G listing for that phone.
Will the in-screen fingerprint sensor work?
It should, but results can vary with replacement OLED panels. Test it before closing the phone and re-register your fingerprints. Your PIN and face recognition still work.
