What this part is
The A73 5G has a 6.7-inch display bonded to its touch layer and glass. When the glass cracks or the picture fails, the whole assembly is replaced.
This is an LCD version. It gives a working display and touch for less than an AMOLED panel. Blacks are less deep, and the fingerprint sensor under the screen may not read through an LCD. Face recognition and your PIN are not affected. Check the photos to see whether a frame is attached before you order.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Galaxy A73 5G. The model number starts SM-A736B.
The A73 has a 6.7-inch screen and four rear cameras. The A72 looks similar but has a different model number (SM-A725 or SM-A726).
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power off the phone and remove the SIM tray.
- Heat the back cover edges, remove it and disconnect the battery.
- Remove the damaged screen from the frame with heat and clean away the old adhesive.
- Connect the new LCD and test display and touch before gluing it down.
- Apply new adhesive, seat the screen and reassemble the phone.
- Check calls, speakers, cameras, charging and unlock options.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Does it fit the Galaxy A72?
No. The A72 (SM-A725 or SM-A726) uses a different screen.
Will the in-screen fingerprint sensor work?
It may not. The A73 was designed for an AMOLED screen, and in-screen sensors usually cannot read through an LCD. Face recognition and PIN still work.
