The power button on the Galaxy S6 Edge presses a small switch on a flex cable inside the frame. Over time the switch can wear out, or the cable can crack after a drop, so the button feels flat or does nothing.
This flex cable is made for the Galaxy S6 Edge SM-G925F and carries a new switch. If the outer button cap is missing or bent, check the photos, as this part is the internal flex only.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About device. The model name should read Galaxy S6 edge, not Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 edge+. The model number should read SM-G925F.
The S6 Edge has a 5.1-inch screen curved on both sides.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power off the phone and warm the back glass to soften the adhesive.
- Lift the back glass carefully and disconnect the battery.
- Remove the screws and mid-frame covers to reach the side button flex.
- Peel the old flex away from the frame and fit the new one in line with the button.
- Reconnect the battery and test the button before sealing.
- Refit the covers and back glass with new adhesive.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
