What this part is
On the Galaxy S7, one tray carries both SIM cards or a SIM and memory card. If it snaps or bends, the phone can lose signal, forget its SD card, or let dust into the slot.
This tray is shaped for the Galaxy S7 and pushes in from the top edge. The dual SIM version of the phone (SM-G930FD) can use two SIMs. The single SIM version (SM-G930F) uses the second position for a micro SD card only.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Galaxy S7, not Galaxy S7 edge. The model number should read SM-G930F or SM-G930FD.
A model number ending FD means the phone is the dual SIM version.

How a technician fits this part
- Power off the phone before you start.
- Push the eject pin into the small hole on the top edge and slide the old tray out.
- Place your nano SIM, and your second SIM or micro SD card, in the new tray.
- Slide the tray in gently, the right way up, until it sits flush.
- Power on and check the phone detects each card.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Check the model number in Settings › About phone. SM-G930FD is dual SIM. SM-G930F is single SIM and uses the second position for a micro SD card.
