How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Galaxy S7 edge, not Galaxy S7. The model number should read SM-G935F or SM-G935FD.
The S7 Edge has a 5.5-inch screen curved on both sides.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power off the phone and warm the back glass to soften the adhesive.
- Lift the back glass and disconnect the battery.
- Remove the mid-frame covers to reach the side button flex.
- Peel away the old flex and fit the new one so each switch lines up with its button.
- Reconnect the battery and test power and both volume buttons.
- Refit the covers and back glass with new adhesive.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
