What this part is
The Galaxy S7 uses a small motor inside the phone to vibrate for calls, notifications and keyboard feedback. After a drop or liquid damage it can become weak, rattle, or stop working altogether.
This motor is made for the Galaxy S7 SM-G930F. Before ordering, check that vibration is turned on in Settings › Sounds and vibration, and that Do not disturb is off.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Galaxy S7, not Galaxy S7 edge. The model number should read SM-G930F or SM-G930FD.
The Galaxy S7 has a flat 5.1-inch screen. The S7 Edge has curved sides.

How a technician fits this part
- Power off the phone and warm the back glass to soften the adhesive.
- Lift the back glass and disconnect the battery.
- Remove the cover over the motor and lift out the old unit.
- Fit the new motor and make sure its contacts touch the board.
- Reconnect the battery and test vibration before sealing.
- Refit the cover and back glass with new adhesive.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
