What this part is
The Galaxy S8 keeps its SIM card and Micro SD card on one small tray that slides into the top edge of the phone. If the tray is lost, bent or cracked, the cards can sit out of line and the phone may show "No SIM" or fail to find the memory card.
This tray is a straight swap. There are no screws or cables, and you do not need to open the phone. It comes in several colours so you can match the frame of your S8.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone (on a tablet: Settings › About tablet). The model name should read Galaxy S8 and the model number should start SM-G950. The Galaxy S8+ starts SM-G955 and needs a different tray.
The Galaxy S8 has a 5.8-inch curved screen. The S8+ is larger at 6.2 inches.

How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off.
- Push a SIM eject pin into the small hole on the top edge to release any old tray.
- Place the SIM card and Micro SD card on the new tray, gold contacts facing down.
- Slide the tray in gently, keeping it level, until it sits flush with the frame.
- Power on and check that the phone finds the SIM and the memory card.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

No. The S8+ (SM-G955) uses its own tray. This one is made for the standard Galaxy S8.
Do I need a SIM pin?
A SIM eject pin makes it easy to remove an old tray. If your tray is missing, you can push the new one straight into the slot.
Is it made by Samsung?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality tray made to fit the Samsung Galaxy S8, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
