What this part is
The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 screen assembly includes the front glass, the touch digitiser and the LCD panel together. A crack in the glass often spreads into touch faults, and a knock can leave the LCD black or streaked.
Two front colours are offered, White and Coffee, so you can match the rest of the tablet. Fitting needs heat to soften the adhesive, thin tools and new adhesive strips.

Is this the right part?
Signs it needs replacing

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone (on a tablet: Settings › About tablet). The model number should read SM-T550 or SM-T555. It is also printed on the back of the tablet.
If your model number starts SM-P550 or SM-P555, it is the S Pen version and needs a different screen.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the tablet off and warm the screen edges.
- Lift the old screen with thin tools, working slowly round the edges.
- Disconnect the battery before releasing the display and touch cables.
- Connect the new screen and test display and touch before sealing.
- Clean the frame, apply new adhesive and press the screen in evenly.
- Check display, touch, home button, cameras and charging.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Yes, if your model number is SM-T550 (Wi-Fi) or SM-T555 (4G).
Does it fit the Tab A 9.7 with S Pen?
No. The S Pen version (SM-P550 / SM-P555) has a different screen with a pen layer.
Which colour should I choose?
Choose the colour of your tablet's front: White or Coffee.
