What this part is
The Pixel 2 XL charges through a USB-C socket on a flex cable at the bottom of the phone. Over time the socket wears, lint packs into it, or liquid corrodes the pins, so the cable feels loose, charging stops and starts, or the phone is not seen by a computer.
This part replaces the charging port flex. Before ordering, clean the port gently with a wooden or plastic pick and try a known good cable, as lint often causes the same symptoms. If the phone still will not charge, the battery or charging circuit may be at fault.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The device name should read Pixel 2 XL. The model number G011C is printed on the box and in Settings › About phone › Regulatory labels.
The Pixel 2 XL has a 6-inch screen. The Pixel 2 is smaller, with a 5-inch screen.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the Pixel 2 XL off and warm the screen edges to soften the adhesive.
- Lift the screen carefully, as it is thin and easy to crack, and disconnect the battery.
- Remove the parts over the charging port flex and unclip it.
- Fit the new flex, seat the connector firmly and refit the screws.
- Reconnect the battery and test charging and USB data before sealing.
- Apply new adhesive, close the phone and press evenly while it cures.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Pixel 2 XL?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Pixel 2 XL (model G011C). It does not fit the Pixel 2 or Pixel 3 XL.
Does it fit the Pixel 2?
No. The smaller Pixel 2 has a different internal layout and uses its own charging port part.
Is the headphone socket part of this?
No. The Pixel 2 XL has no headphone socket. Audio goes through the USB-C port or Bluetooth.
Is it made by Google?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality charging port flex cable made to fit the Pixel 2 XL, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
