What this part is
The power and volume buttons on the right side of the Pixel 2 XL press against a flex cable inside the frame. Drops and liquid can crack the switches or tear the flex, so the phone may not wake, volume may not change or a button may seem stuck.
This part replaces the flex cable with its switches. It does not include the outer buttons. Before ordering, restart the phone to rule out a software fault.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The device name should read Pixel 2 XL. The model number G011C is printed on the box and in Settings › About phone › Regulatory labels.
The Pixel 2 XL has a 6-inch screen. The Pixel 2 is smaller, with a 5-inch screen.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the Pixel 2 XL off and warm the screen edges to soften the adhesive.
- Lift the screen carefully and disconnect the battery.
- Remove the parts over the button flex and peel the old flex from the frame.
- Fit the new flex, lining the switches up with the buttons.
- Reconnect the battery and test every button before sealing.
- Apply new adhesive, close the phone and press evenly while it cures.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Pixel 2 XL?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Pixel 2 XL (model G011C). It does not fit the Pixel 2 or Pixel 3 XL.
Does it fit the Pixel 2?
No. The Pixel 2 uses a different button flex. This part is made only for the Pixel 2 XL.
Does it include the outer buttons?
No. It is the flex cable with the switches. The buttons on the outside of the frame are not included.
Is it made by Google?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality power and volume button flex cable made to fit the Pixel 2 XL, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The Pixel 2 XL screen is glued in and fragile, so opening it needs heat, the right tools and new adhesive, and the battery must be disconnected safely.
