What this part is
The Pixel 3 charges through a USB-C socket on a small board at the bottom of the phone. Lint, liquid and daily use can wear the socket, so the cable becomes loose, charging stops and starts, or a computer does not see the phone.
This part replaces the charging port board. Clean the port gently and try a known good cable first, as lint often causes the same symptoms. The Pixel 3 also charges wirelessly, and wireless charging does not use this board.

Is this the right part?
Signs it needs replacing

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The device name should read Pixel 3, not Pixel 3 XL or Pixel 3a. The model code is printed on the box and in Settings › About phone › Regulatory labels.
The Pixel 3 has a 5.5-inch screen. The Pixel 3 XL is larger, with a 6.3-inch screen and a notch.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the Pixel 3 off and warm the screen edges to soften the adhesive.
- Lift the OLED screen carefully and disconnect the battery.
- Remove the parts over the charging port board and unclip its connectors.
- Fit the new board, seat the connectors firmly and refit the screws.
- Reconnect the battery and test charging and USB data before sealing.
- Apply new adhesive, close the phone and press evenly while it cures.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Frequently asked questions
Will this fit my Pixel 3?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Pixel 3. It does not fit the Pixel 3 XL, Pixel 3a or Pixel 2.
Does it fit the Pixel 3 XL?
No. The Pixel 3 XL is larger and uses its own charging port part. This board is made only for the Pixel 3.
Will this fix wireless charging?
No. Wireless charging on the Pixel 3 does not use this board. It fixes wired USB-C charging and data faults.
Is it made by Google?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality charging port board made to fit the Pixel 3, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. Opening a Pixel 3 means lifting the glued-in OLED screen, which needs heat, the right tools and new adhesive, and the battery must be disconnected safely.
