What this part is
On the Google Pixel 3a the USB-C charging port sits at the bottom of the phone and connects to the main board. Daily plugging in, pocket lint and drops wear the port out, and the phone stops charging reliably.
This part comes with the USB-C port already fitted to the flex cable, so no soldering is needed. The whole part is swapped as one unit. If the phone still does not charge with a new port and a known good cable, the battery or main board may be at fault.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The device name should read Pixel 3a, not Pixel 3a XL. The model code is shown in Settings › About phone › Regulatory labels and on the phone box.
The Pixel 3a has a 5.6-inch screen. The Pixel 3a XL is larger, at 6.0 inches. The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3a are also different phones.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the Pixel 3a off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the screen edges and open the display carefully with a thin opening tool.
- Disconnect the battery before touching any other part.
- Unplug and unscrew the old charging port flex cable.
- Fit the new flex cable, reconnect it and secure the screws.
- Reconnect the battery and test charging with a known good cable before closing.
- Reseal the screen with new adhesive and press evenly while it cures.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Pixel 3a?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Pixel 3a. It does not fit the Pixel 3a XL.
Does it fit the Pixel 3a XL?
No. The Pixel 3a XL is a different phone and needs its own charging port. This part is for the Pixel 3a only.
Do I need to solder anything?
No. The USB-C port is already fitted to the flex cable. It connects with a connector and screws.
Is it made by Google?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality charging port flex cable made to fit the Google Pixel 3a, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
