What this part is
The loudspeaker on the Google Pixel 4a is the loud speaker used for ringtones, alarms, speakerphone and media. Dust, moisture and drops can damage it, and the sound becomes quiet, crackly or stops completely.
This is the speaker unit only. If calls through the earpiece are fine but ringtones and speakerphone are silent or distorted, the loudspeaker is usually the cause. Clean the speaker grille first, as blocked mesh can have the same effect.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The device name should read Pixel 4a, not Pixel 4a 5G. The model code is shown in Settings › About phone › Regulatory labels and on the phone box.
The Pixel 4a has a 5.8-inch screen. The Pixel 4a 5G is larger, at 6.2 inches, and has two rear cameras.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the Pixel 4a off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the screen edges and open the display carefully with a thin opening tool.
- Disconnect the battery before touching any other part.
- Remove the bottom covers and lift out the old speaker.
- Fit the new speaker, making sure the contacts and any gasket sit correctly.
- Reconnect the battery and test calls, ringtone and speakerphone before closing.
- Reseal the screen with new adhesive and press evenly while it cures.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Pixel 4a?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Pixel 4a. It does not fit the Pixel 4a 5G.
Does it fit the Pixel 4a 5G?
No. The Pixel 4a 5G is a different phone and needs its own speaker. This part is for the Pixel 4a only.
Will this fix the earpiece in calls?
No. This is the loudspeaker for ringtones, speakerphone and media. The earpiece at the top of the screen is a separate part.
Is it made by Google?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality loudspeaker (ringer) made to fit the Google Pixel 4a, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The Pixel 4a opens from the screen side, which needs heat, the right tools and new adhesive, and the battery must be disconnected safely.
