What this part is
The power and volume buttons on the Google Pixel 6 press against small switches on an internal flex cable that runs along the side of the frame. With wear, a knock or liquid damage, these switches stop clicking or stop registering, and the phone may not wake, turn off or change volume.
This is a replacement power and volume button flex cable for the Pixel 6. It replaces the internal switches only; the outer button caps stay in the frame. If the buttons still do not work with a new flex, the fault may be on the main board.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The device name should read Pixel 6, not Pixel 6 Pro or Pixel 6a. The model code (GB7N6, GR1YH, G9S9B) is shown in Settings › About phone › Regulatory labels and on the box.
The Pixel 6 has a 6.4-inch flat screen and two rear cameras in a full-width camera bar. The Pixel 6 Pro is larger, with a curved screen and three rear cameras.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the Pixel 6 off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the screen edges and open the display carefully with a thin pick.
- Disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Remove the parts covering the side of the frame and lift out the old button flex.
- Fit the new flex so each switch sits under its button, and reconnect it.
- Test power and both volume buttons, then reseal the screen with new adhesive.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Pixel 6?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Pixel 6. It fits models GB7N6, GR1YH, G9S9B. It does not fit the Pixel 6 Pro or Pixel 6a.
Does it fit the Pixel 6 Pro?
No. The Pixel 6 Pro is a different phone with a different part. This power and volume button flex cable is made for the Pixel 6 only.
Does this include the outer buttons?
No. This is the internal flex cable with the switch contacts for the power and volume buttons. The outer button caps on the frame are not included.
