How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The device name should read Pixel 6a, not Pixel 6 or Pixel 7a. The model code (GX7AS, GB62Z, G1AZG, GB17L) is shown in Settings › About phone › Regulatory labels and on the box.
The Pixel 6a has a 6.1-inch screen and two rear cameras in a black camera bar. The Pixel 6 is larger and heavier.

How a technician fits this part
- Power the Pixel 6a off.
- Warm the camera bar gently to soften the adhesive under the old glass.
- Lift out the broken glass carefully, removing every fragment and old adhesive.
- Clean the area and check the camera lenses underneath are clean and dry.
- Fit the new glass with fresh adhesive and press it down evenly.
- Test every rear camera for clear photos and focus.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
