What this part is
The front camera on the Google Pixel 7 Pro sits in the small hole at the top of the screen. It is used for selfies, video calls and Face Unlock. A drop, liquid or screen damage can leave the front camera black, blurry, spotted or showing a 'camera failed' message.
This is a replacement front camera module for the Pixel 7 Pro. If the picture is only blurry, first check the screen glass over the camera for cracks, as a new camera will not fix damaged glass.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The device name should read Pixel 7 Pro, not Pixel 7 or Pixel 6 Pro. The model code (GP4BC, GE2AE, GFE4J) is shown in Settings › About phone › Regulatory labels and on the box.
The Pixel 7 Pro has a 6.7-inch curved screen and three rear cameras in a metal camera bar. The Pixel 7 has a smaller flat screen and two rear cameras.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the Pixel 7 Pro off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the screen edges and open the display carefully with a thin pick.
- Disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Remove the cover over the top of the main board and unplug the old front camera.
- Fit the new camera in the same position and reconnect it.
- Test selfie photos and video, then reseal the screen with new adhesive.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Pixel 7 Pro?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Pixel 7 Pro. It fits models GP4BC, GE2AE, GFE4J. It does not fit the Pixel 7 or Pixel 6 Pro.
Does it fit the Pixel 7?
No. The Pixel 7 is a different phone with a different part. This front camera is made for the Pixel 7 Pro only.
Will Face Unlock work after fitting?
The Pixel 7 Pro uses the front camera for Face Unlock. After fitting, set up Face Unlock again in Settings › Security. If the camera works in the camera app, Face Unlock should be able to use it.
Is it made by Google?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality front camera made to fit the Google Pixel 7 Pro, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. Opening the Pixel 7 Pro needs heat, thin picks and new screen adhesive, and the battery must be disconnected safely before any part is changed.
