What this part is
The Google Pixel 7 Pro has three rear cameras in its camera bar. A drop or liquid can damage a camera module, leaving the picture black, blurry, shaking or showing a 'camera failed' message on one or more lenses.
This is a replacement rear camera module for the Pixel 7 Pro (GP4BC and GE2AE). If photos are only hazy or have a crack across them, the problem may be the camera lens glass, which is a much cheaper part. Test each lens in the camera app to find which camera is faulty.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The device name should read Pixel 7 Pro, not Pixel 7 or Pixel 6 Pro. The model code (GP4BC, GE2AE, GFE4J) is shown in Settings › About phone › Regulatory labels and on the box.
The Pixel 7 Pro has a 6.7-inch curved screen and three rear cameras in a metal camera bar. The Pixel 7 has a smaller flat screen and two rear cameras.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the Pixel 7 Pro off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the screen edges and open the display carefully with a thin pick.
- Disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Remove the cover over the main board and unplug the faulty camera module.
- Fit the new camera module, reconnect it and refit the cover.
- Test every camera lens and video before resealing the screen.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
