What this part is
The power and volume keys on the side of the Google Pixel 7a are separate button caps held in the frame. They can fall out, work loose, bend or get scratched after a drop, leaving the button hard to press or missing.
This is a replacement set of outer power and volume buttons for the Pixel 7a. The buttons press on switches on an internal flex cable. If the new buttons sit correctly but nothing happens when you press them, the internal flex cable is the likely fault, not the buttons.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The device name should read Pixel 7a, not Pixel 7 or Pixel 6a. The model code (GWKK3, GHL1X, G82U8, G0DZQ) is shown in Settings › About phone › Regulatory labels and on the box.
The Pixel 7a has a 6.1-inch screen and two rear cameras. It is smaller than the Pixel 7 and has a plastic back.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the Pixel 7a off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the screen edges and open the display carefully with a thin pick.
- Disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Remove the internal parts that hold the buttons in the frame and take out the old button caps.
- Fit the new buttons into the frame and refit the parts that hold them.
- Test power and both volume buttons, then reseal the screen with new adhesive.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
