What this part is
The SIM tray holds your nano-SIM card in the correct position inside the Google Pixel Fold. A bent or cracked tray can stop the phone reading the SIM, leave a gap in the frame, or get stuck when you try to remove it.
A missing tray also leaves the SIM slot open to dust and moisture. This tray is made to the Google Pixel Fold's shape, so it sits flush with the frame. No tools are needed apart from a SIM ejector pin.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Pixel Fold, not Pixel 9 Pro Fold. The model code is also shown there and on the phone's box.
The Pixel Fold is Google's first folding phone, released in 2023. The later Pixel 9 Pro Fold has a different body and different parts.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off.
- Push a SIM ejector pin into the small hole beside the tray and remove the old tray or any broken pieces.
- Place your nano-SIM in the new tray, gold contacts facing down.
- Slide the tray in straight, the right way round, until it sits flush.
- Power on and check that the phone shows signal.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
