What this part is
The loudspeaker in the Honor 500 plays your ringtone, alarms, music, video sound and speakerphone calls. If sound through the bottom speaker is quiet, crackles, buzzes or has stopped completely, the speaker module is usually worn or damaged by water or dust.
This module replaces the whole loudspeaker unit. It does not affect the earpiece you hold to your ear during normal calls. Before ordering, check that sound is not muted, that Bluetooth is off, and that the speaker grille is clean.

Is this the right part?
Signs it needs replacing

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Honor 500, not Honor 500 Pro, Honor 400 or Honor 400 Pro. The full model code is also shown there and on the phone box.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Open the Honor 500 with the correct method for this model, using gentle heat and a thin opening tool.
- Disconnect the battery before touching any other part.
- Remove the screws and cover over the loudspeaker, then lift out the old module.
- Fit the new loudspeaker, refit the cover and screws, and reconnect the battery.
- Test ringtone, alarm, speakerphone and media sound before sealing the phone.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Honor 500?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Honor 500. It is made for this model only and does not fit the Honor 500 Pro, Honor 400 or Honor 400 Pro.
Does it fit the Honor 500 Pro?
No. The Honor 500 Pro uses a different part. Check the model name in Settings › About phone before ordering.
Will it fix the earpiece for calls?
No. This is the loudspeaker for ringtones, media and speakerphone. The earpiece at the top of the phone is a separate part.
Is it made by Honor?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality loudspeaker made to fit the Honor 500, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. Opening the Honor 500 needs heat, the right tools and new adhesive, and the battery must be disconnected safely.
