What this part is
The loudspeaker on the Honor 7 sits at the bottom of the phone behind the speaker grille. Dust, liquid and drops can damage the small cone, so ringtones and media sound distorted, buzzy or silent.
This unit is brand new and tested before dispatch. Before ordering, clean the grille gently and check the volume settings and any Bluetooth connection, as these can also silence the speaker.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Honor 7 (it may show as Huawei Honor 7 on older software), not Honor 7S or Honor 7X. The full model code is shown on the same screen and on the label of the phone box.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the back cover or rear housing carefully.
- Disconnect the battery connector first.
- Remove the screws over the bottom speaker module and lift the old speaker out.
- Fit the new loudspeaker so its contacts line up, then secure it.
- Reconnect the battery and test ringtone, media and hands-free call sound.
- Refit the cover and check charging and the microphone as well.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Should I fit it myself?
