What this part is
The side buttons on the Honor 7A press small switches on a thin flex cable inside the phone. Wear, drops and liquid can break these switches, so the phone will not wake, lock or change volume.
This flex is brand new and tested before dispatch. It replaces the switches only; the outer keys in the frame are reused. If a key is missing or cracked, you will also need new outer keys.

Is this the right part?
Signs it needs replacing

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Honor 7A (it may show as Huawei Honor 7A on older software), not Honor 7X or Honor 7C. The full model code is shown on the same screen and on the label of the phone box.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the back cover or rear housing carefully.
- Disconnect the battery connector first.
- Unplug the button flex and peel it gently away from the frame.
- Position the new flex so each switch lines up with its key, then connect it.
- Reconnect the battery and test power, volume up and volume down.
- Refit the cover and check each button once more.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Does it fit the Honor 7X?
No. It is made for the Honor 7A only and does not fit the Honor 7X or Honor 7C.

No. This is the flex cable with the switches. The outer keys in the frame are moved across from your phone.

No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality power and volume button flex cable made to fit the Honor 7A, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The Honor 7A must be opened and the battery disconnected before the flex is changed.
