Overview
What this part is
The charging socket on the Honor Pad 10 is used every day, so it wears out faster than most parts. Pins bend, the socket loosens, and lint gets packed in. When cleaning does not help, the fix is to replace the small board the socket sits on.
This board connects to the main board with a flex cable. It is a board-level part, so the tablet must be opened to fit it. Before ordering, try a different cable and charger, and gently clear the socket with a non-metal pick.
The supplier describes this as a welding-type board, so fitting may involve soldering. It is a job for an experienced technician.

Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the tablet off and remove the SIM tray.
- Open the tablet carefully with gentle heat and thin opening tools.
- Disconnect the battery before touching any other connector.
- Remove the covers over the charging board, disconnect its flex cables and lift the old board out.
- Fit the new board, solder it where required, and reconnect every cable.
- Test charging, data and calls before closing, then reseal the tablet.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
