What this part is
On the Honor X8 5G the USB-C charging port sits on a small board at the bottom of the phone, joined to the main board by a flex cable. Daily plugging in, pocket lint and drops wear the port, and the charger may then connect only at an angle or not at all.
This is the complete board with the port already fitted, so no soldering is needed. The supplier lists this board for the Honor X8 5G. If your phone is the Honor X8 (4G), this board is not listed for it. If the phone still does not charge with a new board and a known good cable, the battery or main board may be at fault.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone and check the model name reads Honor X8 5G, not Honor X8 (4G). The model code is also shown there and on the box. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover of the Honor X8 5G and lift it gently with a plastic pick.
- Remove the screws and the bottom cover, then disconnect the battery connector first.
- Unplug the flex cable from the old charging port board and lift the board out.
- Fit the new board, reconnect the flex cable firmly and refit the bottom cover and screws.
- Reconnect the battery, fit new adhesive, close the back cover and test charging with a known good cable.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
