Overview
What this part is
The Honor X9b SIM tray slides into the side of the frame and holds your SIM card in the right place against the reader. A bent or broken tray can stop the phone reading the SIM, or let dust and water into the slot.
It is a replacement SIM card tray made to the shape of the Honor X9b slot. Fitting it needs only the eject pin. If the phone still shows no SIM with a new tray, the SIM reader inside the phone may be damaged, and that is a separate repair.

- The SIM card moves around and the phone keeps losing the SIM
- The tray sits proud of the frame or does not match the phone colour
How to check your model

Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off.
- Push the eject pin into the small hole beside the tray on your X9b and pull the old tray out.
- Place your nano-SIM card in the new tray with the cut corner matching the tray shape.
- Slide the tray in the right way up and push gently until it sits flush.
- Power on and check the phone shows your network and signal.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Will this fit my Honor X9b?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Honor X9b. It does not fit the Honor X9, Honor X9a, Honor X9c.
Does it fit the Honor X9a?
No. The Honor X9a is a different phone and uses different parts. Check the model name in Settings › About phone before you order.
Which way round does the tray go in?
The SIM card sits face down in the tray, with the cut corner matching the corner of the slot. Slide the tray in with the SIM facing the screen side as the old tray did, and never force it.
Is it made by Honor?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality sim card tray made to fit the Honor X9b, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
Yes, this part is simple to fit. You only need the eject pin. If the old tray is stuck or broken inside the slot, we recommend professional installation so the SIM reader is not damaged.
