What this part is
The loudspeaker in the Honor X9c plays ringtones, alarms, media and speakerphone calls. Water, dust or a drop can damage the speaker cone, which makes sound crackle, buzz or go very quiet.
It is the loudspeaker (ringer) module, not the earpiece speaker at the top of the screen. Before you order, check the volume, turn off Bluetooth and clean the speaker grille gently. If the sound is still poor, replacing the module is the usual fix.

Is this the right part?
Signs it needs replacing

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone and check the model name reads Honor X9c, not Honor X9b. The model code is also shown there and on the box. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and warm the back cover to soften the adhesive.
- Lift the back cover carefully and disconnect the battery.
- Remove the screws holding the loudspeaker module and lift it out.
- Fit the new loudspeaker in the same position and refit the screws.
- Reconnect the battery and test ringtone, media and speakerphone before closing.
- Fit new adhesive, close the back cover and press evenly.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Frequently asked questions
Will this fit my Honor X9c?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Honor X9c. It does not fit the Honor X9, Honor X9a, Honor X9b.
Does it fit the Honor X9b?
No. The Honor X9b is a different phone and uses different parts. Check the model name in Settings › About phone before you order.
Will it fix sound on calls?
It fixes speakerphone, ringtones and media. Normal calls held to your ear use the earpiece speaker at the top, which is a different part.
Is it made by Honor?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality loudspeaker made to fit the Honor X9c, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The Honor X9c must be opened and the battery disconnected before the speaker is changed.
