What this part is
The power and volume buttons on the Huawei Mate 10 press against small switches on one flex cable inside the frame. When a switch wears or the cable is damaged by a drop or liquid, the button stops responding, sticks, or presses itself.
This part replaces the whole flex cable with new switches. It restores power, volume up and volume down. The outer button caps are part of the frame, so a broken button cap needs a different part.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The device name should read Mate 10, not a Pro, Lite or other version. The model code (ALP-L09 or ALP-L29) is shown under Settings › About phone › Model.
The Mate 10 has a 5.9-inch screen and a fingerprint sensor on the front, below the screen. The Mate 10 Pro has its fingerprint sensor on the back.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover to soften the adhesive, open the phone and disconnect the battery.
- Remove the parts covering the side button flex and disconnect it.
- Peel the old flex away from the frame and fit the new one, lining up each switch with its button.
- Reconnect the battery and test power, volume up and volume down.
- Reassemble, seal the back cover with new adhesive and run a final check.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Frequently asked questions
Will this fit my Mate 10?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Mate 10. It is made for models ALP-L09 and ALP-L29. It does not fit the Mate 10 Pro, Mate 10 Lite.
Does it fit the Mate 10 Pro?
No. The Mate 10 Pro has a different frame and button flex. This part is for the standard Mate 10 only.
Will it fix a button that is physically broken off?
No. This flex holds the switches inside the phone. If the button cap on the frame is missing or snapped, that needs a frame or button cap repair.
Is it made by Huawei?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality button flex cable made to fit the Huawei Mate 10, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The Mate 10 must be opened with heat, the battery must be disconnected, and the flex has to be lined up exactly with each button.
