What this part is
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has its selfie camera in the wide notch at the top of the screen, next to the 3D face unlock sensors. After a drop or liquid damage, the selfie camera can show black, stay blurred or stop the camera app opening.
This part is the front camera only. It does not include the face unlock sensors, which are separate parts in the notch. Compare the photos with your old camera before fitting.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The device name should read Mate 20 Pro, not a Pro, Lite or other version. The model code (LYA-L09 or LYA-L29) is shown under Settings › About phone › Model.
The Mate 20 Pro has a 6.39-inch curved screen with a wide notch and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. The standard Mate 20 has a flat screen and a rear fingerprint sensor.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the glass back, open it and disconnect the battery.
- Remove the top cover and disconnect the old front camera.
- Fit the new camera in the notch opening and press the connector on firmly.
- Reconnect the battery and test selfies, video and face unlock.
- Reassemble, reseal the back and run a final check.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Mate 20 Pro?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Mate 20 Pro. It is made for models LYA-L09 and LYA-L29. It does not fit the Mate 20, Mate 20 X, Mate 20 Lite.
Does it fit the Mate 20?
No. The Mate 20 has a teardrop notch and a different front camera. This part is for the Mate 20 Pro only.
Will it fix face unlock?
Not on its own. The Mate 20 Pro uses separate 3D sensors for face unlock. This part replaces the selfie camera only.
Is it made by Huawei?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality front camera made to fit the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The Mate 20 Pro has a glued glass back, and the notch area holds several delicate sensors next to the camera.
